Carry It Close

Carry It Close is a point and click resource management game similar to the Oregon Trail focused on a family of refugees fleeing from a war-torn Ukraine. The purpose of this game is to bring across the struggle that refugee families such as this face as they are forced to leave their home and many of their belongings behind, only carrying the bare essentials and what they could take with them. I worked on it as part of a team for my Game Studio I class where I served as one of the lead designers, as well as the one who came up with the concept for it.
